Mr. Zhan, Doctor of Laws (L.L.D.) of Fudan University Law School majoring in international economic law, teaches at Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade as a part-time professor. He passed the National Bar Exam with a high score in March 2002 and thus received the Certificate of Legal Profession. Since 2002, he has worked at YISHI Law Firm and T.Y. Law Firm providing legal services successively, and transferred to Lehman, Lee & Xu Law Firm in January 2007. Mr. Zhan received his Master degree from Nanjing Normal University and his Bachelor degree from Jiangxi Normal University majoring in English literature and linguistics. He studied Convention & Exhibition Law,private international law, and German Civil Law at Fachhochschule Osnabrueck (University of Applied Sciences) in Germany in 2004. He has published more than 20 articles in various periodicals, with some in key journals, and conducted important research programs for Shanghai Municipality and Shanghai Education Commission. Mr. Zhan specializes in foreign-related affairs, including foreign direct investment, international trade, banking & finance, intellectual property rights, convention & exhibition law, as well as other corporate and commercial affairs. He speaks fluent English (IELTS 7.0) and Chinese (Mandarine and Cantonese) in dealing with professional legal affairs and is able to communicate in Japanese and German. JIANGXI TV (Urban Channel) interviewed Mr. Zhan in Shanghai and made a special TV report on February 6, 2005.
