China Academy of Social Sciences Law Institute

“The Institute of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences is a national-level institute, located in Beijing. Established in 1958, the Institute, the institute was formally established under the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences. Since 1979, the institute was and is a section of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).”

Lehman, Lee & Xu cooperates closely with the Intellectual Property Law Center and has conducted a number of exchanges with the Institute.

   
China University of Political Science and Law

“The China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) is a multi-disciplinary university that focuses on law, along with a number of other disciplines. It is one of the State “211 Project” universities and a key state university directly under the Ministry of Education.”

“The university now has 19 schools or departments and 10 research institutes. In its 50 year development, CUPL has educated more that 100,000 graduates of different levels, most of whom are now working fields such as public security, procuratorship, judiciary, justice and governmental institutions of different levels, as well as in various research institutes and bodies of higher education. It now has 12,418 full-time students, including 8,380 undergraduates, 3,341 graduates and 471 postgraduates.”

Lehman, Lee & Xu has had the privilege of conducting a number of initiatives with the University, including the introduction of an innovative scholarship program. 


Renmin University School of Law

“Renmin University of China is a well-known Chinese university focusing on humanities and social sciences, with the School of Law being one of the top schools in China. Established in 1950, Renmin’s Law School was the first regular higher legal education after the founding of the People’s Republic of China.”

“Consisting of 15 research institutes (centers), the School of Law boasts the National Key Innovative Base under the ‘985 Project’, and has 2 humanities and social science research centers under the Ministry of Education- Research Center for Criminal Jurisprudence and the Research Center of Civil and Commercial Jurisprudence.”

Lehman, Lee & Xu recently established a cooperation with the University and expect to commence a lecture program for students.

Georgetown School of Law

Lehman, Lee & Xu cooperates with the University through an international summer internship program for law students.

Jiaotong Law School

“Shanghai Jiaotong University established a legal research institute in 1986, and later the law faculty in 1996, and then the Law School in June 2002 formally. Now the Law School has formed a multiplicate degree system, with undergraduate discipline, first-class discipline of master’s degree and doctor’s degree discipline of constitution and administration law.”

“There are 13 research centers and 56 faculty members in the Law School, and 86% of the members have doctorate degrees.”

This year, Lehman, Lee & Xu lawyers have had the privilege of becoming instructors for the school's master's program. Mr. Ryan Tang and Mr. Jipeng Cui from the firm’s Shanghai office will teach select courses in law. 

Xavier MBA

The University is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Universities.”
Lehman, Lee & Xu has over the past years become an integral part of the MBA program's summer in China, providing an annual lecture on general business in the People's Republic of China.

Lehman, Lee & Xu is commencing cooperation with the school in which the firm would assist in establishing an innovative law center providing information on IP Rights and Protection in China. It is believed that this will be the first center of its kind in the US. 


University of Chicago Law School

Beijing Agricultural College School of Law

“The Law Faculty of Beijing University of Agriculture was established in 1996, under the authorization of Beijing Municipal Commission of Education and Ministry of Education of PRC. The faculty has founded three research centers: Law, Social working and Education of Marxism Theory, and a separate data room.“

Lehman, Lee & Xu has introduced an innovative scholarship program with the school and continues to cooperate with the school through a number of initiatives.
