How can I register my trademark in Hong Kong?

In order to register your trademark in Hong Kong, you must submit an application with the Hong Kong Trademarks Registry. They will make a preliminary examination to see if your application meets all the requirements that are needed to register a trademark and also verify that your mark does not conflict with any already registered marks. Then the application will be published in the Government Gazette. After the opposition period has elapsed, you can apply for a Certificate of Registration. Generally, the period of time from submitting your application to obtaining the Certificate of Registration should take anywhere from six to eighteen months.
