Beijing office

LEHMAN, LEE & XU was founded in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China. The Firm has experienced rapid growth and development over the years, from its modest beginnings in a cramped office on the campus of Beijing University in 1992 housing three young and ambitious lawyers: Edward LEHMAN, Jason LEE and XU Jia Li in the fledgling, just-privatized, legal sector to its present state, where it dispenses expert legal counsel to many of the world's leading multinational companies and is now the third largest Chinese law firm with eight office and more than 250 professionals.

The Beijing Office has been essential to LEHMAN, LEE & XU's success. Through a number of acquisitions designed to improve the firm's professional services, the Firm subsequently and successively merged with a Chinese patent firm (and is duly licensed to prosecute patents with the State Intellectual Property Office) a trademark firm (and prosecutes trademarks before the China Trademark office) and a tax practice (licensed before the Ministry of Taxation). To date it is the only law firm to hold these three special licenses.

LEHMAN, LEE & XU's Beijing office is located in the heart of Beijing's Central Business District (CBD) in the newest diplomatic district (next to the new American Embassy). The Beijing Office is ideally prepared to handle all your legal needs. Located close to the Ministry of Justice, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), Beijing Judicial Bureau Customs, the People's Courts, Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), the State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC), the State Economic and Trade Commission (SETC), State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), the Trademark Office (TMO) and the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board (TRAB), our Beijing office is ideally situated to handle all your legal needs in China.
