In litigation, is evidence obtained by the litigant outside of China acceptable?

The evidence the litigant provides from outside China can serve as legal documents, but after they are notarized by the notarial department of the country where the litigant lives, or certified by the embassy or consular post of China in the litigant's home country. Otherwise, the evidence will not be legally binding.
