Are there any limitations on the quota of parties in an equity joint venture?

The parties to an equity joint venture shall share the profits, risks and losses according to the proportion of their respective investment in the registered capital. In general, the amount invested by the foreign investor in an equity joint venture may not be less than 25 per cent of the registered capital of the said venture. There is no minimum investment for the Chinese partner(s).
