Lehman, Lee & Xu Gives Practical Advice to Chinese Students (June 1, 2006)

Beijing, China - June 1, 2006 - Lehman, Lee & Xu has completed the first semester of a lecture series given by the firm's attorneys to law students at the Chinese University of Politics and Law. The program was designed to allow students a practical perspective on legal practice by current law practitioners. This program is the first of its kind for the law school, and has attracted hundreds of students for the speeches.

The first lecture in the series was given by senior foreign attorney Richard Wageman who was impressed with the knowledge of the students and their desire to learn of practical case-based legal issues, particularly with regards to contract drafting. The further two presentations were made by firm partner, Tim Meng (a licensed Chinese and New York attorney) and Wenjie Sun (a senior firm attorney). Further cooperation has been established between the firm and CUPL, as it launches a scholarship program to commence in the fall of 2006.
