Lehman, Lee & Xu to Form China Chapter of Turnaround management Organization with Affiliated Firm LehmanBrown

Beijing, China – December 17, 2007 – Lehman, Lee & Xu, along with its affiliated accounting firm, LehmanBrown are establishing the China chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA). With a combination of factors such as the promulgation of the country's first Bankruptcy Law, the world’s largest population, the tightening bank lending policies, and the tremendous growth of China's economy, all resulting in an enormous number of businesses (many of which are in financial difficulties), there should be significant work for members in the organization. The firms, headed by Edward Lehman and Russell Brown, have gained many years of experience in restructuring ailing Mainland businesses.

Mr. Lehman hopes that the newly issued Bankruptcy Law and establishment of the TMA will assist in the restructuring of many businesses on the Mainland. The China chapter is expected to be established in the new year. The Turnaround Management Association was established in 1987 and now has 33 chapters and over 6,800 members in various disciplines.

Lehman, Lee & Xu is a prominent Chinese corporate law firm and trademark and patent agency with offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macau, and Mongolia. The firm is managed by Mr. Edward Lehman who is a long-time China resident, and is recognized as a leading expert on corporate law with 20 years of practice experience in Mainland China.
