Lehman, Lee & Xu Presented a Workshop in Conjunction with China Real Estate Forum

Blaine Turnacliff and Ryan Tang, senior legal attorneys of Lehman, Lee & Xu, presented a workshop titled “Mastering the Art and Science of Doing Business in China – Social, Cultural and Regulatory Concerns Impacting Chinese Real Estate”. The presentation was conducted as part of the Real Estate Investment World China 2007 which took place in Shanghai from March 26 to March 29.
The workshop was well-attended and focused on the following topics: 1) Steps and Issues in Setting up a China Operation, 2) Understanding the Chinese Legal and Regulatory Systems: Latest Developments, and 3) Cultural Issues in Doing Business in China, relevant to real estate investment in China. Mr. Blaine Turnacliff was positive about the response and hoped that his advice would assist foreign investors in better structuring their real estate investments.
The Forum, which took place at the Shangri-la Pudong, attracts international and domestic developers, asset and fund managers, regulators and policy makers, investors and other industry specialists to discuss China’s growing real estate market.
