Lehman, Lee & Xu’s involvement in a transnational class-action lawsuit - an Air Crash in Baotou, Inner Mongolia 2004 which is being litigated in the state of California, has been ranked among the 20 most influential cases in China for 2006. The unprecedented move to bring a claim in the US for the tragic incident occurring in China was the subject of much press coverage during the year 2004 - 2006, led by the firm’s managing partner Edward Lehman, litigation section head Tim Meng and Chinese trial lawyer Hao Junbo are in the midst of pursuing subsequent class actions working along with a top American Law Firm specializes in aviation class action lawsuits.      

Among the 20 nominations by Legal Daily, China’s leading legal newspaper, the case was voted 12th. Hao Junbo was happy with the finish and is excited about the prospects of pursuing this and other transnational litigation cases, allowing Chinese litigants to obtain fair compensation for damages and injuries suffered by Chinese victims.
